Annandale Distillery, celebrated for its exceptional single cask single malt whiskies, is pleased to announce a groundbreaking partnership with Dalton’s Ninefold Rum Distillery and Crafty Distillery. This collaboration has resulted in the creation of a one-of-a-kind spirit tasting pack designed to showcase the extraordinary craftsmanship and diverse flavors that define the Dumfries & Galloway region.
Officially launched at a special event hosted by Annandale Distillery Co-owners Teresa Church and Professor David Thomson at the esteemed MICHELIN listed Globe Inn, this limited-edition tasting pack is a curated selection of the finest spirits from three of the region’s most acclaimed distilleries.
Each distillery has contributed two 5cl spirits, meticulously chosen to embody their distinct character and the rich heritage of Dumfries & Galloway.
Annandale Distillery, known for its award-winning whiskies, offers “STORYMAN,” a premium blend created in partnership with Scottish actor James Cosmo, and the “Man O’Words Unpeated Refill Ex-Bourbon Single Cask Single Malt.”
Dalton’s Ninefold Rum Distillery contributes its “Pure Single Rum,” distilled from cane molasses, and the popular “Dormont Spiced Rum,” a unique blend of spices that has captured the hearts of rum enthusiasts.
Crafty Distillery, renowned for its innovative approach to spirits, presents the multi-award-winning “Hills & Harbour Gin,” infused with notes of forest fir, tropical fruit, and citrus spice, alongside their latest creation, “24 Seven Vodka,” featuring hints of cream soda, light toffee, and subtle biscuit notes.
David Ashton-Hyde, Annandale Distillery’s Commercial Manager, shared his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “This project has been a long time in the making, from an idea I originally had almost 7 years ago to this finished product.
