The peated spirit matured in Amarone casks will develop a brilliant and intense character, with flavours of black cherries and red summer fruits overlaid with subtle smokiness, alongside notes of tobacco, pepper, sweet spice, and chocolate.

Amarone della Valpolicella is known for its robust, full-bodied character. The Pieropan family produces this wine using the traditional appassimento method, where grapes are dried naturally to concentrate their natural sugars and flavours before fermentation. This technique, dating back to ancient Roman times, is a hallmark of the Amarone style. The vineyard is certified organic.
