The 225L Sassicaia wine casks from Tenuta San Guido, a world-renowned wine with its own DOC classification, After aging Sassicaia wine for 24 months, these casks are now available to age our award-winning peated and unpeated spirits.

The peated spirit aged in Sassicaia casks will evolve with rich flavours of dark fruits, earthy undertones, and peat smoke, complemented by vanilla, spice, and a luxurious, oily texture with robust character.
The unpeated spirit will present a delightful profile of rich dark fruits, fresh orchard fruit, creamy vanilla, and spice, resulting in a smooth and flavourful experience.
Priced at £5400.00 which includes a 10-year maturation period within the Annandale Distillery warehouse.
These casks are from the 2019 vintage, regarded as a solar year with record temperatures. The resulting wine had a notably vivid purple color with a bouquet of summer fruits and flowery incense. Pre-filled in December 2023 with our peated new make spirit, we anticipate red fruits, light spice, and subtle smoke.
Annandale Distillery is proud to offer a limited number of these outstanding hand-picked Pomerol casks at £6,500. These 225litre casks are sold pre-filled with our award-winning unpeated new make spirit.
This is a unique chance to own a Single Madeira Cask Single Malt. We have only 10 casks available, and they are priced at £5300. This price includes insurance and up to 10 years’ maturation in our bonded warehouse.
