This month we have a rare batch of 225-litre American Oak casks from the Justino Winery, pre-filled with our smooth unpeated new make spirit.
The Justino Winery has a long history of producing quality Madeira wine. Using Tinta Negra grapes they create a robust and balanced Madeira with notes of sweet raisins, rich dark chocolate and candied fruit. The American Oak adds some demerara sugar flavour and complements the orchard fruit and tropical notes of our new make spirit, which reminds us of baked apples and pears. This is a perfect Dram for the autumn season.
