Taking the stage at the Annandale Distillery Festival marquee, Cosmo delved into his life, career, and his latest venture—a whisky called ‘Storyman.’

The event was a highlight of the festival, with attendees eager to hear stories from the celebrated actor. He also discussed his transition to more profound characters as he embraced his later years in the industry.

The audience was particularly intrigued by the tale of ‘Storyman,’ a whisky developed in collaboration with Annandale Distillery. This new venture adds another dimension to Cosmo’s already multifaceted career.

Whisky and Wisdom: A Storied Career

The festival appearance coincided with Cosmo’s role in the BBC thriller Nightsleeper and an upcoming Amazon series filmed in Glasgow. His foray into the world of whisky with ‘Storyman’ marks an exciting chapter in his journey.

For those unable to attend the festival, ‘Storyman’ whisky is available for purchase online at STORYMANWHISKY.com. It’s a unique opportunity to own a piece of Scottish heritage, crafted in partnership with a renowned actor and whisky enthusiast.

Pop-Up Shop and Marquee Sponsorship

Attendees can also visit the Annandale Distillery pop-up shop in Wigtown County Buildings to purchase their own bottle of ‘Storyman’ and experience the craftsmanship firsthand.

Lee Medd, Head of Destination Place Marketing, Tourism and Events, expressed the significance of the festival and the marquee sponsorship: “After supporting the Wigtown Book Festival for the past three years, the opportunity to become Marquee Sponsor was an obvious thing to do, offering a unique platform to showcase ‘Storyman’ whisky with an appearance in Scotland’s National Book Town.”
