Annandale Distillery is a unique visitor attraction nestled in the beautiful Scottish countryside. Our Maltings Coffee Shop offers a delightful menu of freshly prepared food and drinks to visitors from around the world. We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Cook to join our team.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes from our cafe menu, working closely with the Head of Cuisine.
- Bake delicious cakes, pastries and scones daily.
- Develop new and exciting dishes to enhance our menu.
- Supervise and support other cooks, fostering a positive and productive kitchen environment.
- Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene and safety are maintained.
- Assist with stock management and control.
What you’ll bring:

- Proven experience working in a busy kitchen environment.
- Excellent culinary skills and attention to detail.
- Experience supervising and motivating a team.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work under pressure.
While not essential, qualifications such as SVQ/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Professional Cookery, City and Guilds Diploma in Professional Cookery, or HND/HNC in Professional Cookery are highly desirable.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Weekend work and occasional evening work for events and functions will be required.
