Annandale Distillery, renowned for its award-winning Single Cask Single Malts, today announced its sponsorship of the Festival Marquee at the prestigious Wigtown Book Festival, set to take place from September 27 to October 6. This year’s festival promises an eclectic mix of literary talent, including acclaimed actor Alan Cumming, performance poet Pam Ayres, singer Cerys Matthews, novelist Irvine Welsh, and many more.
The marquee, which will be branded as the Annandale Distillery Festival Marquee, will serve as a central hub for a diverse range of talks, discussions, and presentations. Notably, Scottish acting legend and STORYMAN whisky co-creator, James Cosmo, will share insights into his life, career, and the inspiration behind the award-winning STORYMAN whisky. Following his talk, Cosmo will be available to sign bottles of STORYMAN for attendees.
In addition to Cosmo’s appearance, Annandale Distillery will host an exclusive whisky tasting led by their Global Brand Ambassador, Ben Callow. Guests will have the opportunity to sample a selection of Annandale Single Cask Single Malts, exploring the unique flavours and characteristics of this renowned whisky.
