Annandale Distillery Group is thrilled to announce that two of its flagship brands have been shortlisted in the prestigious 2024 Dumfries & Galloway Life Awards.
The Globe Inn, recently crowned Best Eating Experience at the South of Scotland Thistle Awards, is a finalist in the Restaurant of the Year category. Head Chef Fraser Cameron expressed his delight, saying, “This nomination is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team at The Globe Inn. We’re passionate about showcasing the best of local produce and creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.”
Annandale Distillery has also been recognised as a finalist in the Producer of the Year category for its exceptional range of award-winning whiskies, including Man O’Words, Man O’Sword, and STORYMAN.

It recognises the passion and craftsmanship that goes into every bottle of Annandale whisky. The winners will be revealed at a glittering gala dinner at Easterbrook Hall, Dumfries, on November 8th, 2024.

The Dumfries & Galloway Life Awards celebrate the very best of the region across various sectors, including Community, Food & Drink, Culture & Sports, Enterprise, and Education. Over 400 nominations were received from Dumfries & Galloway Life readers, with a panel of independent judges carefully selecting the finalists.
