We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Cook to join our team at the Maltings Coffee Shop. As part of a thriving visitor attraction, you’ll play a key role in providing a first-class dining experience to guests from near and far.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes from our cafe menu, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
- Manage food stock effectively, including storage, labelling, and rotation.
- Control wastage and adhere to strict food hygiene and safety standards.
- Contribute to the development of seasonal menu options.
- Deliver food to customers with a smile, ensuring timely service and exceeding expectations.
- Support and guide part-time and seasonal staff, fostering a welcoming and efficient team environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Be flexible and willing to work occasional evenings for distillery events and functions.
