Crystal Palace 1861 is a unique and exquisite whisky, distilled from malted barley and matured in a fresh Ex-Bourbon Cask for a rich and complex flavour.
On the nose: you will be delighted by a sweet, warm tobacco aroma, along with the enticing smell of treacle toffee, caramelised brown sugar, woodiness, and cooked fruits, such as apples, pears, and raisins.
On the palate: you will savour a sweet, BBQ smoked flavour, that gives a hint of the whisky’s smoky origin. This is complemented by nutty, green, sweet woody and spicy notes, that add depth and balance to the whisky. The finish is long and satisfying, with a lingering sweetness and warmth.
